About Connecting Tides
Connecting Tides is a collaborative art project aimed at exploring the global scale of plastic marine debris. During a one-month residency at Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan, artists Janet Otter and Bob Corporaal will explore the local coastline, gather materials, and create a series of artworks. Building on previous experiences and projects, we aim to foster conversations about plastic consumption and its effects on our oceans.
